No chance
April 29, 2005 Travel No CommentsI’m currently sitting at Gate 14 at Marseilles airport. It’s 8.39pm, my boarding card says “Boarding 2040″, the screens say we’ll be taking off at 2125, all would appear to be well.
Except, of course, for one tiny, tiny detail - there quite clearly isn’t actually a plane here to get on to.
I think this may be about the point at which the glamorous sheen of international jet travel loses a little of its lustre.
